In this study, we will look more closely at Google and Yahoo! as they are the most similar in terms of target audience and revenue base of X-Factor companies. First and at the foundation of our analysis, we will use the methodology and metrics developed in The X-Factor Threat to evaluate X-Factor companies. Second, we will provide a head-to-head comparison between Google and Yahoo! Finally, we will describe the strengths and vulnerabilities that both companies face going forward.
